The raw coke with different size will be stocked in different silo and they will be sent to the mixing and kneading system via the dosing system base on the suitable proportion. The mixed coke and will be preheated and mixed with the pitch in the preheater tank and then sent to the keanding tank. The paste material will be sent to the cooler tank after keanding sufficiently.
Different special graphite and carbon product should adopts different forming way such as press, isostatic press, carbon fibre and hot pressing and rolling process for different application fields. For producing the high quality special graphite and carbon mateirals, the CBF (Car Bottom Furnace) furnaces is the best choice for baking and rebaking process. Some special graphite need to use the batch type induction furnaces to do the calcination process. The backed materials will be sent to the high pressure impregnation system to improve its density and some time 2 or 3 times imgregnation process will be required. The final baking process is also required before sending to the graphitization process.
Graphitization is the process of heating amorphous carbon for a prolonged period of time, rearranging the atomic structure to achieve an ordered crystalline structure that is typical of solids. During graphitization, carbon atoms are rearranged to fill atom vacancies and improve atom layout. For hanlding the pin or special graphite, the Acheson (AC) furnace or batch type induction graphitization furnace should be considered.
The graphitized items will be sent to the finishing line to undertake cutting and polishing work. And the high temperature thermal purification work is necessary to improve the material purity. For undertaking the purification work, the batch type induction graphitization furnace is first choice.
The purifed graphite items should go for the chmical vapour despostion or chemical vapor infiltration process to improve its density and make the silicon carbide or carbon-carbon surface coating.
