We can provide different type graphitization furnace for changing carbon material into graphite include lengthwise graphitization furnace (LWG furnace), Acheson graphitization furnace (AC furnace) and Box type graphitization furnace (Box Furnace). Graphitization processing has different heating curve and treatment cycle for anode material, special graphite, Isostatic graphite, HP electrode & pins, UHP electrodes & pins.

Project Cases

Anode Material loaded crucible before graphitization processing

The disordered microcrystalline structure formed by a large number of carbon atoms is ordered, the interlayer spacing is reduced, thereby obtaining the physical and chemical properties required for artificial graphite anode materials.

Crucible filling and unloading system for anode material

The carbonaceous material in the crucible is subjected to high temperature heat treatment to make it have the characteristics of graphite crystal structure.

Acheson furnace for processing synthetic anode

Apart from the Acheson furnace, Prominer can also design the length-wise graphitization furnace and grid box graphitization furnace. Formaking the high end anode materials, the Acheson furnace is more stable and mature.

Box type furnace for anode material

The crucible method mainly uses the Acheson furnace or the inner string furnace, and the box method mainly uses the box furnace to complete the graphitization production.

LWG furnace for UHP electrode

LWG furnaces are more efficient in UHP Graphitization, the working time is reduced from 80 hours/furnace to 24 hours/furnace with lower power consumption.

Box type furnace for anode material

The box-type graphitization is based on the Acheson graphitization furnace, and a carbon plate box is set in the furnace, which is equivalent to the enlargement of the crucible ruler, thereby bringing a higher single-furnace output. 

Acheson furnace for special graphite

Graphitization accounts for about 50% of the cost of artificial graphite and is an important processing link of artificial graphite.

LWG furnace for anode material

The LWG process heats the product directly for electrode processing, but need crucible for Anode material.
