The high quality natrual graphite flotation concentrates with size 100 mesh below and purity above 95% will be processed by our impact grinding mill and shaping mill to do raw material particle size and shape modification work. The main target of grinding and shaping work is for obtaining the potato shape spherical graphite and make the particle size distribution more uniform.
The spherical graphite for making anode material should be with purity above 99.95%, so the purification is a necessary step for making qualified spherical graphite. The chemical purification process is the most popular way right now because of its stable performance and lower cost. The main processing step is to using the mix acid wahsing or alkali fusion-acid combined process. There is also a thermal purfication way which is under the trial production test stage now.
Coating and granulation processing is the key step in the whole anode material processing and its performance determines the quality of final product. Our granulation system can do the coating and granulation work together. It can make the coating material and graphite mixing evenly and sufficiently and the electrical heating device will provide staged heating to help the mixed materials coated.
For making the natural graphite anode materials, Carbonization treatment is also the most important processing step. During the high temperature condition (Maximum 1100 degree), it make the coating material and spherical graphite fused together and the coating material formed a shell to wrapping the spherical graphite.
The anode material from carbonization furnaces will be sent to the final product handling system which include deagglomeration, mixer, magnetic separation, sieving and packing system.The mixer is for mixing the multi batch final product before packing for ensure the stable property. Dry type High magnetic separator is specialy designed for removing the mechanical iron in ultrafine powder which generated during processing.
For improving the work environment, we adopt the automation system in the whole plant such as the pneumatic conveyoring, automation dosing and crucible loading and unloading system.
