Processing Way

  • Upgraded Crushing & Grinding Circuit:
  • Expansion: Addition of a new, larger capacity Cone Crusher for secondary/tertiary crushing to maintain a consistent sub-12 mm feed to the grinding mill.
  • Expansion: Installation of a second Ball Mill in closed circuit with hydrocyclones to achieve a finer grind of 74µm and D85, improving gold liberation from sulfide minerals.
  • New Installation: An Oxygen Generation Plant and sparging system was integrated into the leach tanks to increase dissolved oxygen levels, enhancing cyanide leaching efficiency for sulfide-bearing ores.
  • Loaded carbon is transferred to the Elution & Electrowinning system to desorb gold and plate it onto steel wool cathodes.
  • Cathodes are processed in the Gold Smelting Furnace to produce high-purity gold ingots.
  • Regenerated carbon is recycled back to the CIL circuit.
  • Expansion: The existing control system was upgraded to a centralized SCADA/PLC System, integrating all new equipment and enabling remote monitoring of key parameters like pH, cyanide concentration, and oxygen levels for optimal recovery.
  • New Installation: A Gravity Concentration Circuit (Centrifugal Concentrators) was added to recover coarse, free gold directly from the mill discharge. This reduces gold load on the CIL circuit and improves overall project economics.
  • Expansion: Construction of six additional, larger-volume Agitated CIL Tanks, extending the total leaching time to 28 hours.
  • The cascade design ensures progressive gold adsorption onto activated carbon.
  • Expansion: Upgraded Inter-stage Screens for efficient carbon movement and retention.
  • Expansion: A new High-Capacity Tailing Thickener was installed for maximum water recovery.
  • New Installation: A Cyanide Destruction Unit (SO₂/Air process) treats tailings to meet international environmental standards before discharge.
  • Thickened tailings are pumped to an expanded Tailing Storage Facility (TSF) designed for dry stacking.
