Primary Crushing: Existing jaw crusher retained.
Secondary & Tertiary Crushing & Grinding:
Concentrate & Tailing Handling: Existing thickener and filter systems retained.
Ore Sorting Stage (New):
Flotation:
Waste Rejection at Coarse Size: ~35% of mass rejected as coarse waste before grinding, drastically reducing energy and water consumption in downstream comminution and processing.
Increased Effective Head Grade: Sorter product stream grade increased to ~0.7% Cu, significantly improving flotation efficiency and concentrate quality.
Capacity De-Bottlenecking: Reduced mass flow to grinding and flotation allows the existing plant to operate below design load, increasing availability and reducing maintenance, or allowing for future throughput increase.
Brownfield Integration: Retrofit designed to minimize plant downtime. Sorting system installed parallel to existing circuit during operation, with switch-over during a scheduled shutdown.
