Integrated Gold CIP and Sand Aggregates Plant with High-Efficiency Dewatering in China

Feed Preparation & Washing & Classification:

• Run-of-Mine ore is processed through a scrubbing & washing plant to disintegrate clay and soft weathered materials.
• A trommel screen or vibrating screen with high-pressure water sprays separates the raw feed into two main streams:
  • Oversize (+2mm): Primarily consisting of coarse quartz and feldspar particles, directed to the Sand & Aggregates circuit.
  • Undersize (-2mm): Fine slurry containing liberated gold and clay, directed to the Gold CIP circuit.

Sand & Aggregates Production Circuit:

• The oversize material from the initial screening is further crushed (if necessary) and classified by size using vibrating screens.
• Products are washed and stockpiled as commercial construction sand and concrete aggregates.

Gold Extraction Circuit (CIP):

• The fine slurry is conditioned with lime and cyanide in an agitation tank.
• It then flows into a series of CIP (Carbon-In-Pulp) tanks where activated carbon adsorbs the dissolved gold.
• Loaded carbon is advanced to the elution and electrowinning system for gold recovery, producing gold doré bars.
• The barren pulp (tailings) from the CIP circuit reports to the dewatering section.

High-Efficiency Dewatering & Water Management (Key Section):

• The CIP tailings slurry and the wash water from the sand plant are combined and fed to a High-Frequency Dewatering Screen.
• The High-Frequency Dewatering Screen performs a critical function:
  • Efficiently captures fine solid particles (primarily silt and crushed rock flour) from the slurry.
  • Produces a low-moisture, stackable “filter cake” for dry stack tailings disposal, which is environmentally superior and saves water.
  • The clarified process water passes through the screen and is collected in a recycling pond.
• A water circulation system pumps the recycled water back to the scrubbing and screening stages, achieving over 85% water recycling rate.
