Powerful Wet Pan Mill Based Gold Processing Plant for Small to Medium Operations

Crushing (Optional for hard rock): A small jaw crusher to reduce vein gold ore to below 20mm for efficient grinding in the Wet Pan Mill.

Amalgamation Barrel: The discharge from the Wet Pan Mill, rich in gold amalgam, is collected and processed in an amalgamation barrel to further concentrate and separate the gold-mercury mixture.

Gold Smelting Furnace: The sponge gold and/or the concentrate from the shaking table are mixed with fluxes (e.g., borax, soda ash) and smelted in a high-temperature furnace to produce pure gold ingots.

Powerful Wet Pan Mill (2 or 3 units in parallel): This is the heart of the plant. The ore slurry is fed into the mill, where heavy steel rollers grind the ore with a mixing of water and mercury (if amalgamation process is adopted). The grinding action simultaneously liberates gold particles and promotes the amalgamation of free gold.

Gold Concentrate Shaking Table: The tailings from the amalgamation process or the direct discharge from a mercury-free Wet Pan Mill flow onto a shaking table. This table uses differential gravity to separate and upgrade the remaining free gold into high-grade concentrate.

Water Circulation System: A simple settling pond or tank to recycle process water, reducing fresh water consumption and minimizing environmental impact.
