Prominer provides various types of furnaces for primary and secondary baking of carbon and graphite materials, including CBF (car bottom furnace), pit-ring and tunnel furnaces. Since baking and re-baking processes for anode material, special graphite, isostatic graphite, HP and UHP electrodes and nipples have different heating curves and firing cycles, the design and selection of the furnace type according to the required end product parameters and customer requirements are of high importance to ensure the quality of the end product.

CBF furnace can be sized to suit the product and apply high convection heating to optimize cycle times and give more uniform product quality.
CBF is divided into three temperature zones, each one has an internal circulation high-temperature stirring fan to enhance the flow of air to effectively prevents the sudden rise of the temperature in the furnace.
Prominer provides wide range of technological solutions for primary & secondary baking as well as impregnation of graphite electrodes.
Ring furnace makes full use of energy from volatile matter burning of pitch during baking, so its energy consumption is only 1.8GJ/t. baked product.
The production of UHP can be divided into materials processing, preparation of green electrodes, baking and rebaking, impregnation, graphitization, product packing.
Tunnel kiln, as a type of high-temperature continuous roasting carbonization furnace, has many advantages such as large output, short cycle and low energy consumption.
Pre-carbonizing anode material before graphitization will increase packing density, single-furnace output of the graphitization furnace, and reduce the production cost of the graphitization.
The common methods of treating waste gas from baking systems are through thermal oxidation and waste heat recovery.
